Animals...

I love animals. You'll see, if you read my book. :) I have been thinking on something for a long while now.

Reading about how there are still so many states that have 'kill' shelters where animals are killed if they are not adopted within a certain short period of time, I realized that I must do something about it... Having a shelter where you then kill what you sheltered seems ludicrous to me but apparently that happens.

I decided when I launch my book, one of the first things I will do is to set up animal clinics and spread awareness. I do think we live in an increasingly progressive society. It's clearly evident in so many things. I think people do care and just need to know and engage.

Here's a heartwarming story. Australia's oldest man (109) knits sweaters for injured penguins. How great is that? The sweaters are beautiful too! Ha. Here's the full story.
