The Kitchen

I've always associated the kitchen with tasty foods, great smells and a feeling of being welcomed and loved. That's got to do with my mom. She learned how to cook after college when she married my dad. She really had no interest in anything culinary until she cooked for my dad and then took care of us kids. My mom is very creative and she could apply that to anything and blossom. We're lucky she applied it to us! She's such a chef today and finds pleasure in making the most amazing meals, way better than anything you get at most restaurants - healthy, fresh and so savory!

On my own, I go out to eat a lot but I find that food typically just not quite as good and rarely delivered with so much love and good humor. Maybe those are the most important ingredients of all!

Growing up also, I learned a lot about healthy foods and I've been fortunate to have a good constitution. Much to be thankful for.  In most areas, I know what is good for me and what to avoid. I've learned a few things myself but the primary driver for me has been my mother lovingly doing so.

She's very creative and warm. The thing is I find the kitchen very inviting as a result. On my own, the kitchen's just got fresh coffee going. I use all the marble counter tops to write on! Ha ha. I bring my portable office into the space. Something about the memory helps even if I am in a completely different space like today!
