Happy to See: A Thank you Note to Apple

Apple announced today that it is powered 100 percent by renewable energy! This was the last item on my wish list :)

So happy to see that! I have liked Apple since I was eight, but really got into Apple with my best friend at 16 in college. From design and creativity to privacy and now environmental impact, Apple leads the way! I just hope now that the rest of the NASDAQ and tech giants follow suit, with big governments and big companies soon after. It would be huge!

To be creative and productive while being responsible and careful about the impact you have - then you can truly do things with confidence and knowing you are leaving the earth better than you found it. I think that is wonderful, and it is hard to achieve at times, but so worth it! Creativity and productivity within that caring framework - is then unstoppable!

No company or individual is perfect, yet striving to be better is essential. I feel that Apple takes an approach to things that is similar to me. I don't need to be first, but I do need to be the best that I can be. That is just a personal thing and I have truly yet to live up to that in all aspects of my life - a good goal, I think!

When you have an ability to do or create something, you have to apply yourself to really see how far you can go. Being good at something may satisfy people around you or just meet the immediate need, but to go further as far as you are capable of - now that's remarkable. It's what you see in people with a strong internal drive too - like triathletes. I am inspired by that.

I am fortunate to know genuine, loving and truly independent and resourceful people who are my dearest family and friends. They teach me how to be by living it! It is inspiring, and I am happy about it.

I have wandered and explored a lot, and I find that focusing now and just doing things that come naturally to me but with the intent to do more at a level I am capable of - far beyond what any requirement has - is very fulfilling and also exciting to do! Then I can actually grow again!

Returning to Apple's example - achieving some of these things takes a lot of time. It also requires perseverance and steadfast resolve. It always starts though with a simple idea and then an evolving plan as you work out the details.

Those are my initial thoughts on this, and I am SO happy to see this. Apple is always a company I can believe in, and resonates with me on multiple levels. Now I need to do my part as much as I can in my own life, the company I have built and the new ones I will build and support in the years to come! Thank you for leading the way, Apple!
