Earlier today, I got asked the question, "How do you think being a designer influences your work?"

That's a great question. I think it makes me better. I value the written word more. It's like Twitter- you've only got 140 characters. Use them well. With design, the focus is on the image and the presentation. So much can be said with that alone. If you are going to add words, make them count.
